What the Pope is declaring is in direct opposition to what the Lord Jesus Christ commanded.
The reason for the season is SIN! The only remedy to the sin dilemma was the death, burial, and resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. In other words the gospel of the grace of God.
And the number one reason God leaves the believer here on earth after they believe the gospel is to share the gospel with a lost world. Christians are ambassadors for Christ.
