“If my people, which are called by name, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will heal their land.”
These words from Chronicles 7:14 guide 40-year-old school resource officer DeAndra Warren every morning as he prays in front of the school’s flagpole, according to Good Morning America.
Earlier this week, his 21-year-old daughter, De’Andria, took a snapshot of Warren bowing his head in front of the flagpole in his uniform.
“Often you don’t see an officer on school grounds at the flagpole praying for our children!” her caption read. “I know this amazing Man of God who prays for our school systems, your children, and our community every day faithfully! This outstanding man is my dad and I’m so proud to be his daughter! […]

Our God is the One True God and He Answers the Prayers of those who are His
God answers the prayers of believers! It may not be on our time but He will ALWAYS ANSWER.
In Philippians 4:6 & 7, we have the command to worry about nothing but pray about everything, the criteria; to pray with thanksgiving and the promise; that no matter what happens God will give us peace.

‘Be anxious (worry) for nothing,…
This isn’t a suggestion! We are commanded not to worry. Clarification is needed here; being concerned is not the same as worry. We all have our concerns and that’s okay but we are NEVER TO WORRY. Read on…
but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,…
In other words, we can’t approach God with our request without first thanking Him in advance as you’re praying. Being thankful to God must be part of all our prayer request.
let your requests be made known to God;
God never limits our request as long there is a godly purpose involved. Never hesitate to make your request known to God no matter how mundane it may seem to you, it isn’t to God. God makes it clear by admonishing us twice in verse six TO MAKE OUR REQUEST KNOWN TO HIM. So pray about everything, dont’ hesitate to ask God. We have direct access to the Throne room of God and we are to make our request boldly. Yes, boldly!
‘Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’

THE GOOD NEWS
SALVATION
Salvation is a FREE GIFT from God. SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE & FAITH IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS.
- God declares all mankind sinners and we all fall short of Glory of God. Romans 3:23
- The payment for our sin is death. Romans 6:23
- But God...because he loved you so much sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die in your place, for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. 1 Cor 15:1-4; 2cor 5:21
All God asks is that you believe by faith alone in 1, 2, & 3. That you're a sinner, separated from God but God sent his Son to die for your sins, was buried & rose again 3 days later.
'that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. '
