Indonesian authorities suspect hundreds of aborted babies were thrown into a septic tank in Jakarta after they raided an illegal abortion facility recently, news outlets in the country reported this week.
These reports provide more evidence of the callous disregard for human life that is prevalent throughout the world. Unborn babies are unique, living human beings from the moment of conception, but they often are treated like trash, killed and then disposed of as “medical waste.”
Tempo reports Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus believes there may be as many as 903 aborted babies in the abortion facility’s septic tank in Paseban, Central Jakarta.
On Friday, Yusri told reporters that police arrested three people in connection to the illegal abortion facility, and their investigation continues.

Here’s more from the report:
In addition, Yusri urged the patients who had had an abortion in Paseban to report, as the practice of abortion in the middle of a residential area was against health standards and could endanger the health of victims.
In the raid on the abortion clinic, the police arrested three perpetrators, namely a doctor (MM), a nurse (RM), and a servant (SI). All three perpetrators are recidivists of the same case.
During its 21-month operation, Yusri said the abortion clinic had received 1,632 patients and aborted 903 fetuses. From the results of the illegal practice, the perpetrators made a profit of Rp 5.4 billion.
Similar atrocities occur all across the world, including in the United States where abortions are widely legal and available. Earlier this week, pro-lifers gathered to bury the remains of 2,411 aborted babies who were found in a former Indiana abortionist’s garage and vehicle last fall. Several years ago, authorities discovered even more aborted babies kept in bags and jars in Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s “house of horrors” abortion facility.
In America, state and federal lawmakers are working to rectify these problems through legislation requiring abortion facilities to bury or cremate the remains of aborted babies.
