A message from an obstetrician/gynecologist who has delivered more than 2,500 babies has gone viral after he proclaimed there is “absolutely no” medical reason to abort an unborn infant in the third trimester.
The Tweet from Dr. Omar L. Hamada, a Nashville-based OB/GYN, and a former army surgeon received 48,000 re-Tweets and nearly 100,000 likes after he posted it Jan. 23.
Hamada was reacting to a New York law that legalized abortion up to the moment of birth for conditions related to the life and health of the mother. “I want to clear something up so that there is absolutely no doubt.
