Democratic presidential candidate Kristen Gillibrand says pro-life laws protecting babies from abortion are supposedly against the Christian faith
Apparently, the New York Senator has not read much of the Bible, which clearly commands Christians and others not to kill people. Gillibrand appeared at the Georgia statehouse on Thursday to condemn the state for passing an abortion ban this past week, which pro-life Governor Brian Kemp signed into law.
Gillibrand bases her heretical comments on a complete misreading of Biblical scripture, claiming that free will allows people to kill others there for pro-life laws are not Christian.
“If you are a person of the Christian faith, one of the tenants of our faith is free will. One of the tenants of our democracy is that we have a separation of church and state, and under no circumstances are we supposed to be imposing our faith on other people. And I think this is an example of that effort,” she said.
She promises to continue pressing for abortion and only appointing pro-abortion judges if elected president.
“Any Democrat who expects to win the presidency must answer definitively where they stand on this issue,” she said. “If this is a fight that President Trump wants, if this is a fight that he wants with the American people, if this is a fight he wants with America’s women, it is a fight he will have and it is a fight he will lose.”
