(Meredith) — A high school principal in New Orleans is making headlines after he declined a donation of free Chick-fil-A lunches for the school’s teachers. Steven Corbett, the principal of Lush Charter High School, told WDSU he declined the free lunches from Chick-fil-A out of respect and empathy for the LGBTQ community.
Chick-fil-A is regularly criticized for its controversial stance on LGBTQ issues.
