The so-called “four requirements” campaign demands religious venues in China to perform nationalist rituals, preach socialist morality under the watch of state inspectors.
Since June 2018, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has launched a new nationwide “four requirements” campaign to promote “sinicization” of religion. The campaign demands that religious communities adopt four specific practices:
- ritually raising the national flag, often while singing the national anthem;
- teaching believes about, and promoting, the Chinese Constitution, laws, and regulations;
- preaching and promoting the “Core Socialist Values”; and
- promoting “China’s excellent traditional culture.”
Critics say that religious faith is gradually becoming “Partified,” and religious venues have degenerated into places where the CCP promotes “love of country” and “love of Party.”

CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION IN CHINA
The blood-thirsty and irrational hatred for Christianity has been part of the Chinese Communist Party’s DNA for decades. Christian persecution has ramped up since around 2018. With Christians in China numbering around 100 million and growing significantly faster than comrade Xi’s satanic CCP with 90 million adherents. It’s no mystery why Xi Jinping and his evil regime have the peddle to the floor with the murder, torture, and imprisonment of Christians with the hope of completely annihilating Christianity in China.
The CCP will never succeed. Because Satan is a defeated foe and for Christians Satan’s power has been broken. The best this fallen world can do to believers is harm our fleshly bodies but are spirit and eternal destiny is hid in Christ, in God (Colossians 3:3) and no one, no entity not even Satan can change that.
‘What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”’
CHRISTIANS ARE ALREADY CONQUERORS BECAUSE OF THE CROSS
‘Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’
