Auburn freshman quarterback Bo Nix has helped propel the Tigers to a No. 7 ranking and undefeated record, but he says none of it would be possible without God.
Nix told ESPN’s Holly Rowe he wears a white wristband that reads “Humble Over Hype.” It was a gift from teammate Javaris Davis. “It reminds you to stay humble because there’s a lot of hype around you – and [it reminds you] how you can have an influence on other people at the same time,” Nix said. “That’s really important.” Nix was the No. 1 pro-style high school quarterback last year according to Rivals.com and chose the Tigers over Alabama, Clemson, and Oklahoma, among others.
