The pro-life group March for Life Action will air ads on MSNBC ahead of the Democratic primary debates this week, making the case progressive politicians are out-of-step with most Americans on the issue of abortion. Titled “Consensus,” the commercial features women discussing how their views of abortion represent the majority of voters in the United States. The ad cites a Marist poll from February revealing 80 percent of Americans support limiting abortion to the first three months of pregnancy. It also references the fact 60 percent of Americans who describe themselves as pro-choice believe abortion should be limited to the first trimester.
