Feminism that supports the violent destruction of babies in the womb “is not real feminism,” former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley said recently
- The pro-life political leader is slated to speak Monday at the Susan B. Anthony List annual gala. Her speech will be live streamed online starting at 7:30 p.m. Haley, who recently served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, slammed abortion activists for demanding that women conform to their pro-abortion agenda, Axios reports.
- “Unfortunately, many on the left use the abortion debate to divide women and demand conformity,” she said.
- “They do this in the name of feminism. But that is not real feminism.”
- True feminism does not pit a woman against her own child or tell women that they need to abort their unborn babies to achieve equality with men.
As Anthony once wrote in defense of the unborn, “Sweeter even than to have had the joy of children of my own has it been for me to help bring about a better state of things for mothers generally so that their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them.”
