Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii has said a lot of crazy things over the years. One of her most famous is telling men to shut up. But her comment today during a hearing on a bill that would ban late-term abortions may take the cake. Senator Hirono said her fellow members of Congress should quit worrying about babies who are killed in abortions and should instead focus on children who are here already.
