More than 300 people testified on Monday evening in favor of a bill that would outlaw abortion in Texas in a legislative hearing that lasted for over eight hours, continuing into the night to 3 a.m.
Pastors, women who have had abortions, fathers who regretted taking their girlfriend for an abortion, men, and women who could have been aborted themselves, and children who wanted to speak out behalf of the babies all addressed the House committee.
