Kirk Cousins NFL Quarterback Encourages Thousands to Read the Bible

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins finished reading through the Bible in two years and would “definitely recommend it.” Cousins posted a photo of his personalized Bible with an “FCA” logo on the top right corner on Twitter last week. “It took me over two years, but I just finished reading through the entire Bible for the first time. Study! Not just ready like you’re reading a social media post. The Word of God must be studied with all dillegence using the Scripture itself as your only interpretor.

The single most important factor to understanding the Bible is to identify who the writer of a passage is writing too? It is crucial to know who the writer is addressing in order to establish context. All of Scripture is for us and we must study the entire Bible and know it but not all of Scripture is directed to us for doctrine and of course the plan of salvation.

SALVATION

Salvation is a FREE GIFT from God. SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE & FAITH IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS.
