“We responded with strength, not fear,” former U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley wrote Friday, praising President Donald Trump’s authorization of an airstrike that killed a top Iranian military commander.

Late Thursday night, following the news that a U.S. airstrike had killed Senior Iranian Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani, Haley commented on Twitter that she is proud of Trump’s strength and decision to take appropriate action against “an arch-terrorist with American blood on his hands”: “Qassem Soleimani was an arch-terrorist with American blood on his hands. His demise should be applauded by all who seek peace and justice.
