Chinese Communist Government Demolish Megachurch, Detain Pastors Called ‘War Against the Peaceful Christian Faithful’

Authorities in China demolished a megachurch building in the Funan, Anhui region of the country with a seating capacity of over 3,000 and detained its pastors, according to a new report by ChinaAid.

According to the report, “no legal papers ordering the church’s demolition were provided, but the officials tore it down on Friday. It could seat more than people and was part of the country’s officially-recognized church network.” “It was mid-worship service when the destruction took place,” the report continued.
