Saints QB Drew Brees Urges Students: ‘Live Out Your Faith,’ Bring Bible to School

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is encouraging students “live out” their faith and bring their Bibles to school Oct. 3 as part of an event sponsored by Focus on the Family

Brees, a Super Bowl-winning quarterback and the NFL’s all-time leading passer recorded a video to promote Bring Your Bible to School Day, an annual event that will be held Oct. 3 this year. “One of my favorite verses in the Bible is 2 Corinthians 5:7 – ‘for we live by faith, not by sight,’” Brees says in the video. “So I want to encourage you to live out your faith on Bring Your Bible to School Day to share God’s love with friends. But God…because he loved you so much sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die in your place, for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. 1 Cor 15:1-4; 2cor 5:21

All God asks is that you believe by faith alone in 1, 2, & 3. That you’re a sinner, separated from God but God sent his Son to die for your sins, was buried & rose again 3 days later.
