With one week still to go, we know of 371 babies spared from abortion because you answered the call to pray at your local 40 Days for Life vigil!
Haven’t made it out yet? It’s not too late.
Seven-months-pregnant and struggling to wrangle her two rambunctious daughters, Laura questioned her decision to come out to pray at the 40 Days for Life vigil in Madison, Wisconsin.
She quickly decided the struggle was worth it when she met a mom who had it a lot tougher than she did.
Bursting out of Planned Parenthood, the woman told Laura, “I need a hug.”
Laura was happy to oblige, and the woman continued, “I tried to come here to schedule an abortion appointment twice. When I walked in, you said, ‘I’m praying for you and your baby.’ That made me come out.”
The woman is 40 years old and has three children at home. She has suffered from painful pregnancies. And her husband had just walked out on her.
Fortunately, there is help available–even in her difficult situation. Laura brought her across the street to the pregnancy help center to receive the support she needs.

Sacramento, California
When a couple came for an abortion, vigil participants gave them information about local pregnancy help centers as well as a “precious feet” pin to illustrate how big their baby is.
The couple was noncommittal. But later, the vigil participants learned that they got an ultrasound at a pro-life clinic and chose life!
“Praise the Lord!” Wynette in Sacramento said. “This story illustrates how we may not know the positive lifesaving outcome of an encounter at the sidewalk. For all the campaigns who feel like they may not have experienced ‘a save’, there are likely many babies, like this one, that we might not know about. Be encouraged!”
Downey, California
Omar is leading his first 40 Days for Life campaign in Downey.
You could say it’s going well…
…he knows of 29 babies saved from abortion during his vigil!
The facility has 16 escorts to try to prevent abortion-minded moms from learning about their options. Obviously, they’re no match for God!
Omar prays before work, after work, and all day Sunday, which is abortion day. He feels grateful for the opportunity.
“God is good all the time!” he said.
