An 11-year-old boy who was struck by a semi-truck has thanked God for helping him survive the ordeal
Emilio Corrales, known as “Mio,” was riding his bike across the Arkansas River when he was hit by a large truck. The youngster was rushed to Wesley Medical Center with injuries including several torn ligaments, a fractured skull, and various cuts and bruises. Despite the scare, Corrales thanked God for protecting his life. “I’m thankful to God because I didn’t die,” he told KWCH. “I thought I was going to die when I got hit by a semi-truck,” Corrales added that he had been incredibly grateful for the support he’s received since the accident. “They prayed and believed in me and I’m just thankful for that,” he said. “I’m ready to go home, I’m happy I get to go home.” […]
